Altitude Training Center

For a more intensive preparation for the upcoming tournaments, two of the LTA top athletes, Christine Schmit and Yann Birsens, together with head of team Romain Dicken, take part on a training camp at the "High Altitude Center" at San Luis Potosí, Mexico, from October 29 to November 7, 2011.

The daily training sessions were together with the Olympic teams from Columbia, Cuba, Honduras, Argentina, Norway, and Ecuador. There are various training sessions like tactics, endurance, running, and even competition. For instance, during one day, our sportsmen were trained by a personal trainer from Argentina.

During a kyourigi session with electronics hobos, Yann Birsens won 13:1 against a player from Mexico.

Temperature in San Luis Potosí is 30°C.

The LTA is delighted to announce the appointment of Gianni Cappellano as new President on February 19, 2013. Gianni Cappellano holds the 3d dan in Taekwondo and trains in the clubs of Esch/Alzette and Junglinster.
